Kathmandu, Aug 13 : Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ''Prachanda'' has claimed that parties will arrive at an agreement on government formation today, a day before nominations for the Prime Ministerial election will be registered at the Constituent Assembly Secretariat.
Talking to reporters after a meeting with CPN (UML) General Secretary Jhal Nath Khanal here, Prachanda said, "Things will be finalised today. It will be a government of national consensus."
Kathmandu, Aug 12 : CPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today met Madhesi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF) chairman Upendra Yadav to discuss the government formation in Nepal.
According to Maoist spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the meeting concluded to continue attempts for consensus until the election of the Prime Minister scheduled to be held on Friday.

Kathmandu, July 1: Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has blamed the Terai-based parties for the delay in the formation of a new government by obstructing the Constituent Assembly (CA) proceedings in Nepal.
Nepalnews quoted Prachanda as saying that the Terai-based parties have obstructed the proceedings of the Constituent Assembly (CA) for three straight days demanding that the constitution amendment bill tabled in the CA should address the issues raised by them.
