Kate WinsletLondon, Jan 27 : For Kate Winslet, this year's awards season is the time to let herself go - and so she has ditched exercise and dieting.

Speaking on the red carpet of the SAG awards in Los Angeles, the `Titanic' beauty said that she just wants to enjoy the glam ceremonies, which means eating what she wants.

"I did decide that I was going to be easy on myself so I''m not exercising at all, and I''m eating whatever I like," The Telegraph quoted the actress as telling People.

The star couple was left traumatised after Mendes was originally due to fly on a plane that was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11, according to British newspaper the Daily Mail.

All 64 passengers and 125 people in the U. S. government building in Washington D. C. were killed - but Mendes had changed his plans and hadn''t boarded the aircraft, reports Contactmusic.

Winslet endured a similar scare just a month later.
