Verdict Out On Hannah Foster CaseFinally a verdict has been passed in Hannah Foster case. Ex-van driver Maninder Pal Singh Kohli was found guilty of the rape and murder of 17-year-old student Foster, and sentenced to life imprisonment.

The incident had happened in 2003 when Indian national Maninderpal Singh Kohli raped and murdered Hannah Foster, 14 March 2003, in the city of Southampton and then fled to India. Two days later Hannah's body was found strangled and lying in a ditch by the side of a road, a short distance from her home.

Hannah Foster, Maninder Pal Singh KohliLondon, Nov 15 : Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, the murder suspect of Brit teen Hannah Foster has been on Friday accused of smiling in court while revealing his side of the story.

Kohli has claimed that he was forced to have sex with Hannah after being bundled into a car, blindfolded and bound.

There is a possibility that Hannah, 17, was kidnapped too and he had been framed for her murder, he added.

The Sun quoted Prosecutor Nicholas Haggan as saying that Kohli, 41, smiled while giving evidence on Friday.
