London, Jan 8 : Daniel Craig has said that the last two films in the James Bond franchise were deliberately taken in a different direction because Mike Myers'' `Austin Powers' trilogy ruined the spy genre.

The 40-year-old star starred in the last two Bond movies-2006''s `Casino Royale' and last year''s (08) `Quantum of Solace'-have shifted to a darker, less light-hearted tone as compared to their predecessors.

London, Jan 7 : James Bond star Daniel Craig may star in big screen adaptation of comic hero Thor.

According to the sources, Craig is considered "ideal choice' for the role, based on the God from Norse Mythology.

The movie is due to released in 2010 and it is hoped discussions with the star could commence soon.

"Daniel is obviously hot property in Hollywood and it's felt he has all the attributes required for Thor," Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

Washington, Dec 9 : Hollywood actor Daniel Craig has dismissed reports that he will be playing the role of the Norse god Thor in a movie adaptation of the Marvel comic book.

It was earlier claimed that the ‘Casino Royale’ actor would be playing Thor in the adventure project.

However, Daniel has denied the reports, insisting he has no intensions to do the role.

"No. It doesn''t interest me at all,” Contactmusic quoted Daniel, as telling Access Hollywood.
