Daniel Craig, Barack Obama among new Who’s Who entries

James Bond star Daniel CraigWashington, November 29 : James Bond star Daniel Craig and U. S. President-elect Barack Obama have made it to the latest edition of Who’s Who.

The ‘Casino Royal’ star has now become the fourth person to have a mention in the list of actors who have portrayed Bond in films. Sir Sean Connery, Sir Roger Moore, and Pierce Brosnan are the other three stars.

Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby are the only actors who were less successful as Ian Fleming''s secret agent, and have failed to make the grade.

Obama, set to be sworn in as the 44th U. S. President next month, has also made his debut appearance alongside Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who ended John Howard''s 11-year premiership last November.

Pink Floyd star David Gilmour has finally entered Who’s Who for the first time nearly four decades after he joined the rock band.

Andrew Feldman, the chief executive of the Conservative Party and David Cameron''s closest friend, has also been enlisted for the first time.

The 846 new names in the latest issue of Who''s Who comprise of 165 women, with former Tory minister Lord Heseltine’s wife Ann Heseltine being the oldest entry.

Sir Cecil Graham, 80 Emeritus Consultant Paediatrician at the Children''s Development Centre in St Michael, Barbados, is the oldest entry.

Viscount Severn, the son of the Earl and Countess of Wessex, who was born on December 17, is the youngest entry.

Christopher Gray, 20, the director of music at Truro Cathedral, made the youngest non-hereditary entry.

Gordon Brown''s communications chief Michael Ellam has also entered for the first time, reports the Telegraph.
