London, January 10 : Daniel Craig had been struggling to get his Russian accent right for his new movie `Defiance', according to co-star Jamie Bell.

Bell revealed that the James Bond actor had been so anxiety-stricken that he, along with the rest of the cast, repeated his lines in private to avoid being heard - since it was so bad.

"Everyone was so nervous about their accents," the Daily Express quoted Bell as telling BBC Radio One.

Washington, Jan 9: James Bond star Daniel Craig and actor Live Schreiber had a rather `tipsy' formula to beat the shivers while shooting new war movie `Defiance' in Lithuania- hardcore vodka.

In a bid to stay warm in the chilling weather, the two actors heavily drank Lithuanian vodka to keep the cold at bay.

"Our secret for staying warm was vodka. We had lots of good Lithuanian vodka," Contactmusic quoted Schreiber as telling Parade. com.

Washington, Jan 8 : After playing superspy James Bond, actor Daniel Craig has now set his eyes on theatre.

The 40-year-old actor is eager to star on the London stage, but hopes to avoid classics, which are too "complicated" or have "too many lines."

"If a play came along right now, I would jump at it. I''m very keen on doing new writing with plays - that''s where my heart is," Contactmusic quoted Craig as saying.

He insists that he doesn''t want to take on the challenge of Shakespeare or other legendary playwrights.

London, January 8 : James Bond actor Daniel Craig says that it will be a bit hard for him to fulfil Noel Gallagher's wishes to portray him in a film about the rock band Oasis, for it would require him to tone down his superior axe skills.

The `Casino Royale' star said so while reacting to a question at the premiere of his film Defiance in London.

"I can play the guitar better than Noel can so I don't know how that is really going to work," the Sun quoted him as saying in his tongue-in-cheek manner.
