Revolymer, a spin out company from the University of Bristol, has completed initial street trials on pavements in local high streets as a part of a collaborative agreement with local councils.

3.5 pc job reservation for Muslims, Christians in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Sept 13: DMK government in Tamil Nadu has announced the plans to provide reservation of 3.5 per cent each to Muslims and Christians candidates in jobs and educational institutes in the state.

An ordinance in this regard will soon be promulgated, and it would come into effect from September 15 this year, which will be DMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C N Annadurai's 99th birth anniversary.

Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi made this announcement in a press conference in Chennai today.
