Kanye West amasses a million Insta-followers in just one day

London [UK], Sept. 20 : Just one day into opening his Instagram account and Kanye West already has one million followers on his account.

The 39-year-old rapper had set up an Instagram account after months of consideration and had uploaded just one rather arty picture so far since.

A few months ago, the 'Famous' singer had revealed on Twitter that he was considering joining Instagram.

".I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition - no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram," he tweeted, adding, "It's my art."

His 35-year-old wife, Kim Kardashian West on the other hand is known for her social media presence with over 82 million Instagram followers and fans.

'Bulleya'wins 12 m. hearts in not even a week

The recently released soul-stirring track 'Bulleya' has made it huge by garnering 12 million views in not even a week.

Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle to share his happiness and posted a collage of two snaps from the flick, which read, "Bulleya winning hearts across the World. 12 Million views."

Centre to announce new set of 27 smart cities today

New Delhi [India], Sept. 20 : Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will announce the next set of 27 cities for financing under the Government flagship Smart City Mission today.

As per the Misison guidelines, as many as 40 cities have to be announced during this financial year, as the government had already announced 13 cities in May.

In January, the government had announced a list of 20 cities for partial funding to be developed as smart cities, which would have facilities such as assured water and power supply, sanitation and solid waste management systems, efficient urban mobility and public transportation, IT connectivity and e-governance, among others.

Geneva [Switzerland], Sept. 20 : Maintaining that human rights violations in Balochistan are at its worst, Paulo Casaca, a former member of the European Parliament, said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a fully militarised project.

Casaca said that people who raise their voices on the issue in Pakistan are murdered and their bodies dumped.

"I think it [human rights violation ] must be one of the worst there [Balochistan], because I do not know of any policy of kill and dump like the one pursued in Balochistan. People that are seen as vocal in expressing a certain culture, even if they do not have known political activity, they are being murdered and their bodies have been dumped," Casaca told ANI.
