Chris Pratt taking six months off to be with family

Washington D.C. [USA], Sept. 21 : American actor, Chris Pratt has decided to rest after more than a year of being "on the road."

In a recent interview, the 37-year-old actor said he is taking some time to be with his family after doing three movies back-to-back, reports People magazine.

"I've been on the road for 14 months-I did three movies back to back to back-so I'm taking six months off," the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star said.

Pratt recently spent the summer with his family that includes 39-year-old wife, Anna Faris, who is also an actress and three-year-old son, Jack.

This time too, the family man tells of his plan to take the family back to the summer's beach.

According to the insider, the 'Friends' star saw the impending divorce of Pitt and his second wife as ' karma' for what happened to her 11 years ago.

Aniston married the 'Mr And Mrs Smith' actor in 2000 and publicly split in 2005 following complications, which started while filming the movie with the 41-year-old actress.

Software launched by NGO on human trafficking will reunite victims with families

New Delhi, [India] Sept. 21 : A non-government organisation ( NGO) dealing with human trafficking has launched an online platform to reunite victims with their families.

Named "Impulse Case Info Centre Software" ( ICCS), it offers a platform to people and authorities to communicate and collaborate to prevent human trafficking effectively.

Emboldened by the success of the software in several northeastern states, Impulse recently launched the software in Siliguri town West Bengal.

Emarine Kharbhih, a consultant working with Impulse, said most cases of human trafficking are reported from Indo-Nepal border.

It would be blunder for Pakistan to think of India as a weak opponent: JD(U)

JD(U) leader Rajeev Ranjan said it would be a blunder for Pakistan to consider India a weak opponent.

"We have never started a war from our side. War has always been initiated by Pakistan and we have given Pakistan a befitting reply in our style. And to think of India as a weak opponent is their mistake. And no matter what they say, the reality is that Pakistan does not have the calibre to challenge India," said Ranjan.

Union Cabinet to review post-Uri terror attack scenario, other issues

New Delhi [India], Sept. 21 - The Union Cabinet will be meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Wednesday morning.

Though the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday is a routine affair, it is significant in the sense that it is being held in the backdrop of last Sunday's terror attack in Uri in which 18 army soldiers were killed.

The Cabinet Committee on Security is also expected to hold a meeting to review the situation arising out of the attack.

Meanwhile, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi has reviewed the security situation in Kashmir in the backdrop of the deadly militant attack on an army base in Uri and the ongoing unrest in the valley.
