The leading exporter of the country Kemrock Industries and Exports has declared its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. As per the reports its net profit has declined by 7.82% in the quarter that ended on 31st March, 2010. The net profit of the company was found out to be Rs 11.76 crore for the quarter against the same quarter last year.

ZTE, Telecom equipment maker, announced that its Indian arm has decided to strengthen the facility to set up a new Indian Engineering Centre (IEC) office in the national capital to meet the growing demand for engineering services in India.

According to a statement, the new IEC office act as the main centre for ZTE India's after-sale engineering team comprising managed-services, network establishment, and maintenance of the network for operators.

In a declaration, the company officials said that NTPC will produce another 660 MW by October 2010, commissioning a new facility of its coal-fired power plant at Sipat in Chhattisgarh.

The report said that two divisions of the Sipat facility in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district fabricate 1,000 MW.

As part of company's growth plan, NTPC plans to produce 1,980 MW extra power with another three plants having capacity of 660 MW each.
