Kemrock Industries net profit dips 7.82 per cent
The leading exporter of the country Kemrock Industries and Exports has declared its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. As per the reports its net profit has declined by 7.82% in the quarter that ended on 31st March, 2010. The net profit of the company was found out to be Rs 11.76 crore for the quarter against the same quarter last year.
The company has informed this in a filing at the Bombay stock Exchange. However the total income of the company has risen to Rs 143.35 crore in the January-March quarter. The total income was Rs 123.74 crore in the same quarter in the preceding fiscal. Moreover, the company has also informed that it has decided to extend its financial year by a period of three months this time.
That means the quarter will be ended on June 30, 2010 and the current financial year of the company would be for a period of 15-months. The fiscal year will be April 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010 as per the company officials.
