Arshad Warsi, who failed to woo audiences as a film producer, has made announcement about his first directional project 'Akkad.'

Presently, the actor is shooting day and night to finish his acting assignments like 'Golmaal 3' and 'Dhamaal 2'.

Warsi also disclosed that he would work hard to discover best script for 'Akkad.'

On asking, what's the main reason behind the failure of Bollywood movies, Arshad said, "I believe the reason why we make so many bad films is because we do not concentrate on what is the most important part of a film which is, as you would have guessed it right, the script. Also, it is of paramount importance that we have right people roped in for the right roles."

While talking about Hollywood, the actor said that in the West, script of the film is decided first and then the actors.

The stars for the film will be chosen on the basis of their talent and merit.

About Bollywood, he said that an actor suitable for the character could be almost finalized.

He also said that if a bigger actor shows some interest in doing the same film, the makers won't take a second to cancel the signed person.

As a producer (Hum Tum Aur Ghost) and director (Akkad), Arshad also has to remember these facts very clearly.

"Of course yes, that's the right way to make a film", reassures Arshad, "This is going to be my criteria in the films that I am doing today and would be doing tomorrow. My funda would be simple - 'Boss, you will be in the film only if you suit the role'. I know for sure that so many good scenes also go wrong if messed by due to poor understanding of an actor.
