A report from an expert in online piracy has come up with its theory of five dangers of sharing information on any Social Networking site.

According to the recently released quarterly results by the market leader Hero Honda for the fourth quarter in the Indian market, the company has exceeded its sales target and has posted a 49 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 598.8 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010.

While the overwhelming results took the back of the Government's fiscal stimulus, the availability of cheap financing and the low base effect from the previous fiscal, but the company has gained a supreme position that at the outset seems undisputed.

While the entry-level segment has been the bread-and-butter for the market leader Hero Honda for many years now, but perhaps its arch rival Bajaj Auto has time got its plan made on full-proof basis and is not in a mood to make any error. It is the Discover that it helping Bajaj to gain market share in the entry-level segment in the Indian two-wheeler industry.

In fact, it is believed that though, the Splendor and Passion models from Hero Honda's stable are the country's top-selling motorcycles but Bajaj is climbing fast with its Discover range of motorcycles in the Indian market.

The growing global ambitions are certainly the one major pillar in the growth strategy of Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman and MD, M&M for the times to come.

In fact, its launch of the pick-up trucks in the US market is one of the most awaited launches in today's time and if the recent news reports are to be believed then the automaker has passed all the tests that needed to be done before the products could pave their way into the American geographies.

While luxury cars were earlier perceived to be only made for the richest in the country, the strategy of carmakers such as BMW India and Mercedes-Benz is convincing the consumers that were once out of reach by launching the stripped down version of their models. Both BMW and Mercedes today offer the stripped down 3-Series and Corporate C-Class model respectively for the Indian consumer.

Notably, the price differential between a BMW 3 Series fully loaded version and the stripped down version is close to Rs. 3 lakhs while for Mercedes it stands at a whopping Rs. 6 lakhs.
