While the consumer sentiment is getting better by the day and expansion is slated to happen across industries but the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) has recently said that it is in the process to introduce stringent disclosure norms for firms that plan to list on the stock market.

It is to be mentioned here that IRDA is a regulator for the Insurance industry and it is expected that the regulator will make it mandatory for an insurance company to disclose financial statements of the last five years before it files for an initial public offer (IPO).

While the news of the upcoming portal is a good news for the citizens who want to put their ideas from the planning commission, it is expected that the process will help the people who are eager to participate in the 12th five year plan.

Mumbai, Sep 20 (IANS) Actress Shruti Haasan, daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan, walked the ramp at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week for designer Puneet Nanda in an outfit from his tarot collection.

Shruti was dressed in a blue toned silk sari with dazzling border and long sleeved black net choli, which was a part of the art of tarot collection that Nanda presented at the the gala event.

When asked how comfortable she was sporting a sari, Shruti said: "It's one of those things you have to get used to and this sari is very comfortable. So it was quite easy walking the ramp in this."

While the central bank, Reserve Bank of India has recently announced a hike in the short-term borrowing rate (reverse repo) by 0.50 percent and lending rate (repo) by 0.25 percent in its quarterly review of the monetary policy, housing loan, auto loan, education loan are likely to move northwards from the next month.

It is to be mentioned here that repo rate is a rate at which the banks borrow funds from RBI and any increase in the same clearly means that borrowing will be more expensive.
