A new research has found that microRNA's interact with hormones to prevent the risk of premature labor.

Researchers looked at pregnant mice, and found that the hormone progesterone and the proteins called ZEB1 and ZEB2 play role in controlling onset of labor.

The study findings indicate that progesterone keeps the levels of microRNA down and that of proteins up during pregnancy.
