A new study carried out by the Centre for Integrative Clinical and Molecular Medicine in Brisbane has found that fenugreek can improve people’s sex drive. Fenugreek is a bean-like plant which grows in India and other Asian countries. It is mainly used in Indian curries and other vegetables.

In a recent research, scientists from the University of Cambridge have discovered ‘significant abnormalities’ in the brains of people who are addicted to drugs. The results were published on Tuesday in the journal Brain.

Drug firm, Strides Arcolab has revealed that the US Foods and Drug Administration (USFDA) has given approval to the launch of its Levofloxacin injections. These injections are synthetic fluoroquinolone antibiotic and are available in the American market.

This is the second approval received by the Sagent Strides LLC, which is a joint venture between Strides Arcolab and Sagent Pharmaceuticals. At present, Strides is developing and supplying more than 25 injectable products for the USA market, which will be marketed by the Sagent.

India is expecting food inflation rates to rise by 8.96%, but is hoping that the monsoons will allow the rate to come down by 6.5% by March 2012.

However, if the rates continue to soar, the RBI will not change its policy. The Chairman of Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, C. Rangarajan has warned the Indian Institute of Managements (IIM) that there taking autonomy for granted. He stated: “Do not take this for granted. It is not often that the government takes such a decision”.
