Jay Z offers a whopping $40m to acquire rights to Prince's unreleased music

London [UK], Oct. 27 : Looks like Jay Z is in for more investment to boost his multi-platform company ' Roc Nation' by recently bidding a fortune to acquire the rights to late icon Prince's unreleased music.

The 46-year-old rapper is said to have offered around 40 million dollars to the late musician's sister Tyka Nelson and her husband Maurice Phillips in order to get the right to music that was unearthed at Prince's Paisley Park estate after his death in April, reports the Daily Mail.

However there was a slight problem surrounding the deal, as Nelson is said to have to get agreement from all of the singer's brother and sisters, as well as the trust managing the 'I Wanna Be Your Lover's estate.

Better treatments may now be possible in children's brain cancer

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 27 : Each year, more than 4,000 children and teens are diagnosed with brain cancer and the disease kills more children than any other cancer.

Researchers of Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) at the University of Utah report that they have identified an existing group of drugs that appear to reduce or eliminate a certain subgroup of childhood brain cancers while sparing normal brain tissue.

The research was conducted using a new zebrafish animal model system developed by the researchers, which closely resembles an aggressive subtype of pediatric brain tumours.

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir),[India] Oct. 27 : At least six civilians were injured in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan in R.S. Pura sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

According to reports, the Pakistani Rangers started unprovoked shelling targeting Indian posts and civilian areas in Arnia area of R.S. Pura around 9 p.m. yesterday.

Later, they also started heavy shelling in Ramgarh area of adjoining Samba sector and other areas of R.S. Pura.

The BSF retaliated the shelling and gave befitting reply.

Heavy exchange of gunfire between the border forces of both the countries is still continuing in Sai, Treva, Bidipur, Joda, Arnia, SM Pur, Chanliyal etc.

Assam Rifles acting as messenger of peace on motorbikes

Agartala (Assam) [India], Oct 27 : The Assam Rifles (AR), which is known for its aggression and active role of counterinsurgency, has adopted a new method to bring peace in the northeast. The paramilitary force has organised a unique bike rally to spread their message of peace and brotherhood, particularly among the youth.

As bike attracts the youth, hence the AR, one of the oldest paramilitary forces, has organised this bike rally to disseminate their message of peace among the new generation covering even the remotest villages on motorbikes.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar interacted with the troopers, who took part in the motorcycle rally, at the Assam Rifles ground in Agartala and praised them for their unique initiative.

Akhilesh lacks concentration to run government: Kharge
