Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 27 : Decorated American Olympian Michael Phelps married his fiance Nicole Johnson all the way back in June in a private wedding ceremony in Maricopa County, Ariz.

The marriage license was issued June 9, 2016 and the wedding was officiated by Phelp's agent and longtime friend Peter Carlisle, reports E! Online.

The pair welcomed a baby boy named Boomer Phelps in May, about a month before they officially tied the knot.

In the months leading up to the secret nuptial, Johnson had shared a few details of what fans could expect on the big day.

However, as it turns out, the proud mom appears to have left one big point out- the celebration had already occurred.

New Delhi [India], Oct 27 : India's largest independent mobile payments network and mobile wallet MobiKwik has announced launch of donations on its platform, which will help users donate their part of charity to religious institutions.

The company has tied up with Feeding India, a not for profit organization that works towards achieving zero hunger and Gurudwara Singh Sabha for the same.

Users can choose to donate their cash-backs or make independent donations. More NGOs and religious institutions will be added within this year.

Valencia [Spain], Oct. 27 : The Indian junior men's hockey team failed to capitalize on their winning start at the Four-Nations Invitational tournament as they went down to Belgium 2-4 in their second encounter here last evening.

Belgium broke the deadlock right in the first minute of the game when Victor Wegnez converted a penalty corner into a goal to give them the early lead.

The game's pace dropped a bit after the goal, with both teams playing the game in the midfield, trying to get a foothold in the game. India won themselves a penalty corner in the fourth minute, but the attempt was saved by Loic Van Doren in Belgium's goal. They had a second penalty corner, eleven minutes in, and from the ensuing attempt, Harmanpreet Singh converted to drag them level.

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 27 : A UBC study has found that people with higher levels of psychopathic tendencies are more likely to assault their romantic partners. They are even more likely to drink alcohol.

The study, which was conducted at UBC's Okanagan campus, involved looking at data and police reports involving 700 US civil psychiatric patients in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as 870 students at UBC's campus in Kelowna, BC.

Thrissur (Kerala) [India], Oct.27 : During the first half of the financial year 2016 -17 Catholic Syrian Bank has registered the highest ever net profits during the first half, in the entire history of the 96 year old organization.

Backed by surge in treasury profits on account of favorable interest rate movements, effective management of stressed assets, improvement in CASA and asset growth and strict control over operating expenses, the bank has recorded a net profit of Rs. 53 crore in H1 of 2016-17 as against a loss of Rs. 41 crore during H1 of previous year. The operating profit of the Bank for the first half was Rs. 95 Crore.

Patna (Bihar) [India], Oct. 27 : The Janata Dal (United) on Thursday said the infighting in the Samajwadi Party (SP) would only help the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reap benefits ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, adding that it would be unacceptable to secular and democratic forces in the state.

Speaking to ANI, JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan said SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav is the only one who can salvage the party.
