Facebook has proclaimed that it wants to simplify the security settings, following the circulating controversies that take care of the users' privacy. The Vice-President of Facebook, Eliot Schrage stated that the company is putting in efforts to protect the privacy data and make the settings simpler for users to access, as reported to The Financial Times.

Google has fallen under the scanner from the European privacy regulators for its Street View project. This axing was enforced when Google disclosed that since 2006, it had been collecting private data about wireless networks which was required for the photo database for the Street View project.

Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has given out its new offering -HTC Wildfire. Wildfire is a lookalike of HTC Desire, difference being its appearance which is stockier and smaller. The Wildfire sports 81mm screen that has 320 x 240 pixels. It is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm processor- MSM ranged, WiFi, GPS, HSDPA, Android 2.1 with HTC's Sense UI.

The event that sparked off was led by an e-mail from Gawker's editor Ryan Tate, in which Tate expressed his disbelief that Apple called the tablet device as a "revolution", and criticized other companies for banning the usage of Flash in the so called 'revolutionary' device and instantly marked a mail to the CEO.

Jobs stated that this promotion was in lieu of interest of its users who restricted the usage of programs that either, slowed down the device, drained its battery or promoted pornography.

Shares of the Sky Deutschland are on a dip, claims a recent report. As the report further elaborates Sky Deutschland is witnessing a drop in shares following the first quarter loss. The pay TV in Germany is not as profitable as compared to other regions.

Figures of shares in Sky Deutschland fell by twelve cents to 1.35 euros, hinting an eight per cent decline making the company available for 739 million euros. This, when compared to the earlier figures, is close to 29.8 million euros which factually has gotten worse.
