"Increased pressure puts the forefoot at risk of injuries such as stress fractures, bunions and hammer toes. Knee pain is also common when high heels are involved," Ashish Jain, M. S. (orthopaedics), consultant joint replacement specialist at Max Hospital, told IANS.
