Afghanistan asked NATO to help in the plane crash investigation
Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Zemarai Bashary has informed that the Government has asked NATO-led forces had to help locate the plane which crashed. The NATO-led forces are expected to search the plane by using pilot-less drones. As per official reports from the Afghan Government, the Afghan passenger plane was carrying 43 passengers at the time of crash.
There were six foreigners among the travelers. The plane has crashed in the mountains of northern Afghanistan. Within a week there have been two major plane accidents. The first one was at Tripoli airport, Libya and the second being this one at Afghanistan. Only one kid survived in the plane crash at Libya.
The plane broke in to pieces while landing at the Tripoli airport. But in this crash there is a very narrow chance of anybody's survival. NATO has provided a manned aircraft for the search operation with two other helicopters. The rescue team has found out the spot of crash. It was near the Salang Pass in the Hindu Kush Mountains at the northern part of the Afghan capital.
