Jeera snapped a four-day winning streak to end more than 1 percent lower on profit booking. Spot rates in Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, price dropped 15.5 rupees to end at 11,984 rupees per 100 kg. April contract dropped Rs 175 and settled at Rs 11980 a kg. The contract made intraday low of Rs 11961 a kg and high of Rs 12150 a kg. Support for jeera is at 11911 below that could see a test of 11841. Resistance is now seen at 12100 above that could see a resistance of 12219.

Market has opened at 11340 & made a low of 10904 versus the day high of 11340. The total volume for the day was at 11460 lots and the open interest was at 7480.Support for turmeric is at 10759 below that could see a test of 10613. Resistance is now seen at 11195 above that could see a resistance of 11485.
