Starting from June this year, readers would have to pay a subscription £2 per week to access the online edition of The Times and The Sunday Times, an announcement from News International, the owner of both the brands, unveiled on Friday.

Unlike the present free access website, readers would need to access two different sites, Thetimes. co. uk and Thesundaytimes. co. uk, for the two newspapers separately, the company added. However, the £2 subscription fee includes access for both the sites.

Bollywood super star, Amitabh Bachchan has joined the 'Save Our Tigers' campaign amid high concerns in the country over the dwindling numbers of the animal.

Telecom service provider, Aircel and national news channel NDTV are jointly carrying out the initiative for awareness and tiger conservation. It was originally initiated by World Worldlife Fund (WWF) India along with Aircel.

"The tiger is symbolic of India's wildlife wealth. It is in danger because of rampant poaching and the ineffectiveness of our system to stop its killing. Collective action is the need of the hour," said Mr. Bachchan.

A brand new Tata Nano purchased by a Mumbai resident, Satish Sawant caught fire when he was taking it home from the showroom.

Satish cannot drive so the showroom had provided him with a driver when a biker asked him to look at the rear of the car which was in flames.
