As per the latest developments, it is expected that the US auto-safety regulator may impose a second round of fines on Toyota Corp.

The Japanese auto company has already been slapped with a fine of $16.375 million, on Monday. This was imposed because its vehicles showed problems in the accelerator.

The second round will be imposed because it hid information of sticking accelerators in 2.3 million vehicles.
