After hitting $82 mark Crude oil prices again comes down
After hitting a peak last reached two months ago, Crude oil prices settled at less than $82 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Friday.
There has been a swing in the prices from $82.75 per barrel in early January to near $71 in early February and back up again.
The price of April delivery, light, sweet crude which hit a mid-session high above $83, then settled back to $81.39 per barrel. Heating oil prices lost 0.015 cents to $2.10 a gallon. Reformulated gasoline blend stock prices fell 0.0123 cents to $2.2597 a gallon.
AAA further said that at the retail level, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was $2.783 per gallon Wednesday, up from Thursday's $2.776. (With Inputs from Agencies)
