Legendary superstar of south Indian cinema and Tamil Nadu’s former chief minister M.G. Ramachandran will be seen in a forthcoming animated 3D film ‘Puratchi Thalaivan’.
Puratchi Thalaivan is directed by Venky Baboo and produced by Sridevi Rao under the banner Mayabimbam Media.

The Election Commission of India has issued notice to Delhi Education and Tourism Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely for alleged violation of the model electoral code of conduct.
The notice was served on Saturday and The EC sought his reply by Sunday evening.
The allegation was- Lovely, who is contesting the assembly election from Gandhi Nagar constituency, used his official writing pad with the national emblem embossed on it to appeal to the electors to vote for him, said an official of EC.
Congress retained its Pale constituency seat by defeating BJP rivals in the by-polls. Polling for the seat was held on November 26.
Congress candidate Pratap Gawas defeated his nearest BJP candidate Pradip Sawant, by 1,534-votes. The results were declared on Saturday.
Gawas got 7,867 votes, while the BJP candidate was voted for by 6,333 persons. Rebel BJP candidate Suresh Amonkar, who contested independently, polled 3,682 votes.
