Paris  - France will be without Barcelona striker Thierry Henry for upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Turkey, the French football federation (FFF) confirmed Sunday on its website.

Although France's top goalscorer with 48 goals played for Barca in last Wednesday's Champions League final victory over Manchester United, Henry has been struggling with a knee injury and will not be available to coach Raymond Domenech.

France play Nigeria on Tuesday in Saint-Etienne and take on Turkey in Lyon on Friday. (dpa)
