ASUS G50V Gaming Laptop Launched In IndiaASUS has launched its new G50V gaming laptop in the Indian market.

Targeted at portable gamers, the newly launch laptop computer offers up outstanding gaming experience with great visual computing power.

The new gaming laptop, which is based on Based on the Intel Mobile PM45 chipset, claims to offer a complete gaming experience with the Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT graphics processor and 512MB of dedicated GDDR3 memory.

Moreover, it supports up to 4GB DDR2 800MHz memory.

Mr. Albert Tung, Managing Director, ASUS India stated, “ASUS is already strong in the Netbook segment in India. With the launch of G50V we are strengthening our position in the high end notebook category in India.”

“We are very excited about our new offering and are sure that Indian consumers will see immense value for a total gaming experience,” Mr. Tung added.

The new G50V sports a 15.6-inch WXGA LCD panel offering decent quality visuals for gaming buffs.

Supporting Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors, the laptop offers a choice between T9600/T9400/P8600/P8400/P7350 mobile processors.

If users want more space for storing more games, films, music etc, they can easily add a double SATA HDD with a total of up to 640GB (7200RPM) storage.

On buying this amazing notebook, the customer gets an alternative to select the gaming package comprising a Republic of Gamers backpack, an Asus gaming mouse, and a Siberia Steel series gaming headset.

For users ease, the ASUS G50V also features an extra display that keeps users updated regarding emails and messages.

The gaming laptop also supports HDMI and has three astonishing technologies letting easy wireless communication including LifeFrame, SmartLogon and Virtual Camera.

The G50V also offers performance raising modes with the CPU Level Up feature; the top most setting pushes up the CPU power to the max.

Asus provides the option of a 9-cell battery for long game series for extended battery life.

With WiFi and Bluetooth (v2.1 + EDR) for connectivity, the laptop computer also offers a FireWire port.

Asus is selling the gaming laptop at a price of Rs 1,15,000 in India.
