Wall Street Journal India Mobile goes operational
Dow Jones in association with Bharti Airtel launched the mobile application of famous business journal, The Wall Street Journal.
The name of the application is The Wall Street Journal India Mobile and provides the user the latest happenings in the world of business and finance on their mobile phones.
The application is compatible with a number of Blackberry and Nokia smartphone models. The companies claim that it would be extended to other handsets very soon.
The application can be downloaded by Airtel users by sending an SMS writing WSJ to 54321.
And since Airtel is a partner, the users of the mobile service can download the application free of charge. This will be applicable to both the pre and the post paid users. For the other service users, the application is going to be charged with fees.
Talking about it, Raghunath Mandava, CMO-Mobile Services at Bharti Airtel said that this is a step forward in Airtel's endeavor to find out new and innovative products and services.
