Subhash Projects secures Rs 212 cr order

Subhash_ProjectsSubhash Projects and Marketing Limited, an infrastructure development company in India, has secured an order worth Rs 211.95 crore from Uttar Pradesh.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said it has received order worth Rs 211.95 crore for setting up a sewerage network in Kanpur on a turnkey basis.

The project is a part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission — a central government initiative aimed at hastening development in some cities.

The contract, which will also involve construction of a sewage treatment plant, was awarded by the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, a government utility entrusted with the task of developing and regulating water supply and sewerage services in the state.

The order includes surveys, soil testing, design, supply and construction, installation and commissioning of a 130-km-long sewage network.

Subhash Projects and Marketing Limited operates in the field of water supply, sanitation and solid waste management, hydro power and electrification projects.
