No LeT, JeM radicals in Pak CID’s ‘Red Book’ of most wanted terroristsKarachi, Mar. 18: Outlawed terrorist outfits such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) may be on the US’s list of most dreaded terror groups, but Pakistan does not consider them dangerous as far as the Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) recently released ‘Red Book’ of terrorists is concerned.

According to a list of wanted terrorists released by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of CID Sindh, Syed Jawed Ali Shah Bukhari, no LeT or JeM operatives are wanted by Pakistan’s authorities.

On Wednesday, Zardari has invited leader of the house in Senate Raza Rabbani and former PPP Sindh secretary-general Nafees Siddiqui for a meeting in the Presidency as a reconciliatory measure.

Lahore Police fired 423 bullets without even nicking a single 3/3 terrorist!Lahore, Mar. 18 : The Lahore police has been widely criticized for its incompetence to retaliate during the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team, has now claimed that it fired 423 bullets during the shootout, but none of them hit the attackers.

According to a report submitted by the police officials, 17 policemen through 21 weapons fired 423 bullets at the assailants, but all escaped unhurt.

"The attackers were firing from a safe place, due to which they could not be hit," the report stated.

PAF goes fully nuclear

PAF goes fully nuclearIslamabad, Mar. 18  Strengthening its capability, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has now attained powers of carrying nuclear warheads.

Addressing media persons on the sidelines of a book launch program, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mehmood Ahmed said: "The PAF has been made nuclear for giving it the status of a real deterrent force."

"We have made the whole of PAF a nuclear force. The PAF has achieved such a deterrence level that no one could cast an evil eye on the motherland," Air Chief Marshal Ahmed said.

Three Pakistani policemen killed in university attack Islamabad  - Suspected insurgents on Wednesday killed three policemen who responded to an emergency call after an attack on a university in Pakistan's troubled North-West Frontier Province, officials and media reports said.

The shootings occurred in Chakdara town of the Lower Dir district, 75 kilometres from the provincial capital, Peshawar, police officer Gul Mohammad said by telephone.
