Punj Lloyd secures order worth Rs 1873 crore Punj Lloyd, the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) conglomerate has secured three contracts worth Rs 1,873.18 crore from the Housing and Infrastructure Board of Libya.

The contract will include designing, procurement, installation and commissioning of utilities for three towns of Libya.

Under the project, the Indian firm would be responsible for the designing, procurement, installation and commissioning of utilities in three towns of Libya - Zawara, Ragdaleen and Al Jamail Town.

The utilities for these projects consist of developing roads, networks for drinking water, sewage water and storm water, electrical and telecommunication work.

The orders are scheduled to complete in 48 months.

The scrip of the company closed today at Rs. 217, up 1.38% compared to its previous close.
