Observations show if alien civilizations are broadcasting, they aren't chatting loud enough for humans to hear them from Earth

Latest observations have shown that in case alien civilizations are broadcasting from around an oddly behaving star, they aren't chatting loud enough that it is audible to humans from Earth.

In October, the star KIC 8462852 gained a lot of attention when scientists made an announcement that the star has shown proof of periodically dimming by 20% or more, which as per some people could be a result of the shadow of an alien megastructure.

But researchers at the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in Mountain View, California, observed KIC 8462852 and have so far been able to pick up no radio signals that may indicate extraterrestrial chatter.

Venus, Mars and Moon will appear to crowd as relatively small spot in sky on Saturday

A spectacular gathering of three bright planets and a lovely waning crescent moon will be the chief celestial attraction in the predawn sky this weekend, with the moon, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all making an appearance. It will, in fact, be possible for anyone with a clear and unobstructed view of the southeast sky to see this foursome in a single glance.

The trio Venus, Mars and the moon will be visible to crowd into a relatively tiny spot in the sky, on Saturday. The moon is going to be aligned with the amazing Venus, and quite dimmer Mars.

The moon will be shining less than 2 degrees to the right of Venus on Saturday morning. Meanwhile, the pumpkin-colored Mars, will glow above the brilliant moon and Venus. The Red Planet will be shining with just 1/250th of the Venus' intensity.

Overall diet of Americans is reason behind their obesity

Junk food has been blamed as the main reason behind increasing obesity rate in countries, especially in America. Now, a new research paper by the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab has unveiled that junk is not the prime reason, but overall eating habits of Americans are the root cause.

Study’s lead researcher David Just, Co-director of the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab, said, “If you over-eat junk foods, they are going to make you fat. It's just that it doesn't look like that it's those foods that are making people fat generally. It's something else. It's their broader diet or it's their exercise regimen”.

China’s cancelling of its one-child policy to bring opportunities for many brands

Since 1979, China was having one-child policy and last month only, it has taken off that requirement. This can act as a golden opportunity for many brands and especially for those dealing in children’s market.
