Software solutions company Mastek has announced that it has posted a dip of 31.7% in its net profit for the three month period ended September 30, 2009.

During the review period, company net profit figure stood at Rs 17.86 crore, over the similar period previous fiscal.

In a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), company's officials stated that the company's total income has plunged to Rs 114.99 core in the latest quarter  as compared to Rs 158.98 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The sources informed that Mastek group turnover, comprising the company and its sister company, plummeted to Rs 191.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, as compared to Rs 261.65 crore for the similar period year ago.
