FIIs net investment crosses the $2 billion milestone

It seems that the budget presented by the Finance Minister has matched the likes of the FIIs as the net inflow from the foreign institutional investors have crossed the two-billion milestone before the end of the current financial year.

According to the data which shows the net FII inflow, the new investment made by the FIIs in the Indian stocks has crossed $2.02 billion (Rs 9,189 crore) in the domestic market as on March 9.

According to the data available with the market regulator SEBI, the FIIS have done a purchase of Rs 1,20,128 crore so far this year, while the selling of the stocks valued at Rs 1,10,938.7 crore, coming at a net inflow of Rs 9,189.60 crore.

In fact, the market watchers believe that boost given by the budget helped a lot in luring the foreign investors towards the domestic bourses. Moreover, the positives that the budget carried for the investors have helped getting the market sentiment back in mood.

Analysts are of a view that the scenario will remain the same for the upcoming months as well as the situation is only getting better by the day.
