Board On N-Deal Likely To Meet After Sept. 9
New Delhi: The UPA-Left group on Indo-US nuclear agreement is likely to hold its first meeting after September 9.
This was declared by senior CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury after his conference with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who also heads the committee.
The composition of the 15-member committee was announced yesterday, a week after the administration and Left parties decided to establish such a board to check out the concerns brought up by the latter.
The group has six members from Congress, three from UPA partners and six from Left parties.
Pranab Mukherjee also planned that the discussion on the N-deal could be held in Rajya Sabha tomorrow and in the Lok Sabha on September 10.
