Aurobindo Pharma Receives Tentative USFDA Nod For Perindopril Erbumine Tablets

Aurobindo Pharma Indian pharmaceutical company Aurobindo Pharma has got tentative nod approval from USFDA to market Perindopril Erbumine tabs in the strengths of 2 mg, 4 mg and 8 mg respectively.

Perindopril Erbumine tabs, which come under CVS section, are the generic versions of Solvay Pharmaceuticals' 'Aceon' tabs.

Perindopril Erbumine is prescribed for treating patients suffering from high blood pressure.

The company said that the product will be launched shortly.

Aurobindo Pharma, on Nov 09, won final authorizations from USFDA for 2 ANDAs including Cefotaxime for jab USP 500 mg, 1g, 2g and Cefotaxime for jab USP 10 g pharmacy bulk pack.

At 12:08 p. m., the shares of the company lost 0.9% to trade at Rs 805 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 891.40 and a low of Rs 103.20 on BSE. Current EPS & P/E ratio of the stock stood at 79.71 & 10.09 respectively.
