Zardari promises diplomatic support to Kashmir cause

Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali ZardariIslamabad, Jan. 25 : Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has told Prime Minister of Pakistan-administered occupied Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan that Islamabad is committed to extending its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their struggle for their rights.

Zardari also inquired about various development projects in Kashmir. He took particular interest on the rehabilitation of the Mangla Dam victims and the development of New Mirpur City.

He sought a regular progress report about various projects in Kashmir.

The president assured that all difficulties would be removed in the release of development funds to Kashmir.

Khan appreciated Zardari's keen interest in Pakistan-Kashmir affairs. (ANI)
