UTV Software Communications Ltd has informed that its UK based wholly owned subsidiary christened 'IG Interactive Entertainment Ltd (IGI)' has acquired 80% stake in True Games Interactive, a California based corporation for an undisclosed amount. The latest move by UTV Software is in line with the business strategy of achieving growth through the inorganic route. The company had recently acquired UK-based console developer, Ignition Entertainment and India-based mobile gaming company, Indiagames Limited. The stock of UTV Software closed today at Rs 792 on BSE, down 1% compared to previous close of Rs 798. It touched an intraday high and low of Rs 800 and Rs 778 respectively. Indian Stock markets closed lower on Monday due to selling pressure in heavyweight counters.
