Zagreb  - US President George W Bush has arrived in the Croatian capital Zagreb for a two-day visit.

The visit is the first by a US president since the former Yugoslav country achieved independence in 1991.

Bush is scheduled to meet with his Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesic during the visit. (dpa)
