Two Westerners kidnapped in Yemeni capital, security officials say

Two Westerners kidnapped in Yemeni capital, security officials say Sana'a - Two Westerners, believed to be Italian nationals, were on Tuesday kidnapped in the Yemeni capital Sana'a, security sources told the German Press Agency dpa.

The two were taken at gunpoint in a suburb in the south of the city by tribesmen from a little-known clan, the sources said.

The kidnappers are believed to have moved them to Bani-Dhabian a mountainous area about 80 kilometres east of Sana'a. (dpa)
