India's largest integrated travel and travel related financial services company, Thomas Cook (India), will now offer life insurance solutions of India’s leading private life insurer, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance. Thomas Cook will offer insurance products through its distribution network of over 160 retail branches across the country.

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between two leading conglomerates- Allianz AG, one of the world's largest insurance companies, and Bajaj Auto, one of the biggest two and three wheeler manufacturers in the world.

The partnership would help Bajaj Allianz to offer life insurance solutions through direct contact points at Thomas Cook retail offices, e-business site and other locations. The company plans to scale up its capital base by Rs 500 crore during the current fiscal as demand for insurance increases in the fast growing economy.

Thomas Cook (India) offers a broad spectrum of travel and related services such as package tours, currency exchange and travel insurance as well as hotel and flight reservations. Thomas Cook has been present in India for over 126 years and operates over 160 offices at various locations in the country and has operations in Sri Lanka & Mauritius.
