Nokia 5800 Xpress MusicRecently, the Finnish handset maker Nokia, launched its exclusive model in the Xpress Music phones at Rs 19,999, thus making the competition stiffer in the touch screen phone segment.

Nokia India MD D Shivakumar, reported, “Nokia 5800 Xpress Music will be made available either by December-end or January next year and will be priced at Rs 19,999.”

Moreover, a beta version of the Nokia Music Store would also be launched by the company on 18th December of this year, while in Q1 of the next year; the consumer version would be available.

Blockbuster goes on-demand with new set-top box

2WireTwo weeks before, when 2Wire introduced its MediaPoint set-top box, it was reported that “It'll be a matter of weeks--if not days--before you see a yet-to-be-named service provider offering its own version of the MediaPoint, possibly at a sub-$100 price point.”

However, since that initial provider turns out to be Blockbuster Video, the curtain has been pulled back. The company’s version of the MediaPoint box is being offered for just $99, which includes a credit for 25 movies, for a limited period of time.
