Asus Eee PC 1000H to be Replaced by 1002HA

Asus Eee PC 1000HSoon, the Asus Eee PC 1000H model of netbooks would be replaced by the company with the 1002HA. Though almost similar design is featured by the new netbook, it has a thinner profile.

A brushed metal external shell and front mounted speakers and the same system specifications as the older model with a 1.6 GHz Intel N270 Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard disk would also be featured by 1002HA. The new model will be powered by Windows XP.

Reduction in cotton MSP not possible: Textile minister

Union Textile Minister Shankarsinh VaghelaToday, Union Textile Minister Shankarsinh Vaghela, denied reducing Minimum Support Price (MSP) of cotton, in a direct reply to the agitating ginners across the country. With the aim to pitch for rationalization of cotton MSP, nearly 4,000 ginners in India have launched a two-day strike.

At a press conference held in Ahmedabad, Vaghela said, “Ginners reaped the rich benefits of higher cotton prices last year. Now let the farmers earn higher returns this year.”

While dedicating to the nation 'Abhinavam', the new technology complex of the Naval Physical Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Antony said, “The Indian Navy can face challenges better than the so called advanced nations.”

Louis, who is also a great music fan, evidently was worried since his Mp3 player was using quite a lot of electricity; so the Portsmouth resident decided to utilize vegetables in order to power up his device.  

The technique Louis used consisted of boring two holes in an onion, soaking it in an energy drink and sticking a USB cable into it. The method enabled him to charge his iPod for an hour.
