Advani demanded that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government disclose details of the accounts of Indians in Swiss and other foreign banks, estimated at between Rs. 25 lakh and Rs. 70 lakh crore.

India cruise missile BrahMos test-fired successfully

BrahMos New Delhi - India on Sunday successfully test-fired the land version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile and said it was ready for induction in the army.

This was the third test-firing of the missile, developed under an Indo-Russian joint venture, since January.

"Today land attack version of BrahMos Block-II was tested from a mobile autonomous launcher at Pokhran test range by the Indian Army. The missile took off successfully and hit the desired target at bull's eye, meeting all mission parameters," the army's military's research wing said in a statement.

No charge on withdrawing cash from other bank ATM''s from April 1

ATM''sNew Delhi, Mar 29 : The Reserve Bank of India''s (RBI) directive to the banks to stop charging fee for cash withdrawals using ATM and debit cards issued by other lenders will be implemented from April 1 onwards.

According to the directive, the people would be saved from paying an extra fee for taking out money from an Automated Teller Machine that does not belong to their own bank.

However, the banks are still allowed to charge extra for the services like cash withdrawal from ATM''s outside India.

The second phase of polling, scheduled on April 23 would include 25 seats in Maharashtra, 20 in Andhra Pradesh, 17 each in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, 13 each in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh and 11 each in Assam and Orissa.
