Washington, Jan 14 : Singer Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to make a triumphant return to the spotlight by singing the American National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida next month.

The 27-year-old star went into hiding following the brutal murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October last year.

According to reports, Hudson was will also be performing at Barack Obama''s inauguration in Washington, D. C. next week (20Jan09), reports Contactmusic.

However, the rumours were shot down by her publicist.

Washington, January 14 : `Superman: Man of Steel' producer Brian Quintana says that he may run for California''s 31st Congressional seat if Xavier Becerra signs up to become President-elect Barack Obama''s Commerce Secretary.

The former Hollywood nightclub boss and socialite is contemplating running for political office if Becerra steps down.

Quintana, a former servant of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, believes that he would be supported by many of his famous friends in Hollywood.

Kate sparked rumors of dating Adam when she was photographed surfing and sunbathing with him at the Kapalua Resort.

Washington, Jan 14 : Researchers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed a method to accelerate stability testing of biodiesel fuel made from soybeans and also identified additives that enhance stability at high temperatures.

Both oxidation and heating can cause biodiesel to break down, adversely affecting performance.

These two effects usually are analyzed separately, but NIST chemists developed a method to approximate both effects at the same time while also analyzing fluid composition.

Washington, Jan 14 : Researchers from Carnegie Mellon University have developed software that will let engineers design new products by simply sketching their ideas on a tablet computer.

The software, dubbed SketchCAD, is a digital pen-based computer system that can be used to design 3D products for a variety of industry sectors.

"The idea is to empower engineers and designers with tools that are already familiar to them and are the most natural for the task," said Levent Burak Kara, an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon.
