IREDA, RCF, BEML, NALCO, SAIL and REC were among major losers in the PSU segment. Indian markets were trading positive during the session's opening but soon drifted in the red.

Suzlon Energy stock was up by 1.8 percent in early trades. Adani Ports and Adani Energy Solutions were also trading positive with strong volumes.

SRF Limited share price jumped 2.82 percent on Friday on strong volumes. The stock opened at Rs 2,860 and touched an intraday high at Rs 2,945 before closing at Rs 2,932.

NALCO, Engineers India, NMDC, NTPC Green Energy were among major gainers in PSU segment as Indian markets finally managed sustained buying from lower levels.

Asian Paints share price touched 52-week low in today's session. The stock opened at Rs 2,154 and touched intraday low at Rs 2,124.

IRB Infrastructure, Ashok Leyland, RVNL, Cochin Shipyard and Hindustan Zinc shares closed low in today's session and these stocks are looking bearish on technical charts.
