Spanish inflation dips in steepest monthly fall in 21 years
Madrid - Spanish inflation dipped to 2.4 per cent in November, down from 3.6 per cent in October, in its steepest monthly slide since January 1987, according to government data released Friday.
The government attributed the slide mainly to falling oil prices.
In July, inflation had reached a level of 5.3 per cent while prices of oil and raw materials were peaking in international markets. (dpa)
