Noida-based Roto Pumps Ltd has secured an order worth Rs 3.6 crore from Larsen & Toubro Ltd, for Rajasthan Northern Area Development Project of Cairn Energy India Pvt. Ltd.

The company claims that the latest order is the single largest value order in the history of the Roto Pumps, which it has picked amidst stiff International competition.

According to the company, Larsen & Toubro Ltd is the contractor for this project and the project is certified for deemed export benefits.

Roto Pumps Limited manufactures and distributes industrial pumps in India. Its products include progressive cavity pumps, twin screw pumps, and accessories. The company exports its products to the People's Republic of China, the Middle East, Far East Asia, and Africa.

Recently, the company has pocketed a major export order worth AUD 0.5 million from Blue Water for their water desalination project in Sydney, Australia.

The company has registered a substantial rise in its standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 49.09% to Rs 6.56 million from Rs 4.40 million in the same quarter, last year.
