Sally Field and James Spader win top honours at Emmys

Washington, Sept 17: Two-time Academy winning actress Sally Field won the award for best actress in a dramatic series for her role in ‘Brothers and Sisters’ at the 59th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Best actor in a dramatic series went to James Spader for his role as a lawyer in ‘Boston Legal’.

Field’s comments had to bleeped since she started talking about the war in Iraq.

She later told reporters that she wanted to say something about mums whose son’s aren’t coming home.

Keira Knightley’s jinxed when it comes to props!

Washington, Sept 17: Actress Keira Knightely failed to overcome her habit of breaking important props while filming, for she recently broke two crucial items on the set of period drama ‘Atonement’.

The 22-year-old actress, who faces difficulty in keeping film props intact, broke an exclusively designed Chanel necklace and a lighter while filming ‘Atonement’.

"I was wearing a Chanel necklace and it got stuck,” Contactmusic quoted Knightely, as saying.

Washington, Sept 17: Hispanic star, Jennifer Lopez wants to be a part of the Spice Girls’ impending world tour.

The singer/actress wants to join the band on their reunion gigs, which will begin in Los Angeles later this year in Los Angeles.

"I'd love to get back out there on tour and I'd really like to perform on the same stage as the Spice Girls,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez are very good friends, and incidentally, JLo’s favourite Spice Girl is also Victoria.

Washington, Sep 16: Socialite Paris Hilton has denied reports that she is to adopt four blonde babies.

In a recent interview, the hotel heiress revealed that at the moment, kids were not on her priority list.

"Someone just said that I'm adopting four blonde babies. That's retarded. No, I'm not,” People quoted her, as saying.

When asked if she’d like to adopt, Paris said, “Maybe, but I want to have my own children.”
